Registratie Leerjaar 2010-2011/Registration School Year 2010-2011

In alle klassen die in aanmerking komen worden CITO toetsen afgenomen. Vraag de leerkracht van je kind(eren) voor meer informatie over deze toetsen in zijn/haar/hun klas(sen).

In all applicable classes the children will complete CITO toetsen this year. For more information, contact your child(ren)'s teacher(s).

Wij zijn op zoek naar enthousiaste leerkrachten en onderwijsassistenten die een bijdrage willen leveren aan de ontwikkeling van het onderwijs op onze school. Dit betreft onder andere 3 uur lesgeven op zaterdagochtend, lesvoorbereidingen, houden van oudervergaderingen en het bijwonen van leerkrachtenvergaderingen.

We are looking for teachers and educational assistants who can help us develop and improve the education at our school. Included in the job are teaching hours; 3 hours on Saturday mornings during the regular school year. Furthermore you would need to prepare your classes, meet with parents to address the progress of their child(ren) and attend teacher meetings.

Algemene informatie Oranjeschool, juli 2009 / General Info July 2009

De Oranjeschool is geregistreerd als een Non-Profit Organisatie en heeft de volgende doelstelling:

"De doelstelling van de school is het in een vriendelijke atmosfeer behouden en bevorderen van kennis van de Nederlandse taal en cultuur en het onderwijzen van deze kennis aan kinderen van 0-12 jaar."

The Oranjeschool is registered as a non-profit organization. The Oranjeschool admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs,and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and loan programs, and athletic and other school-administered programs.

Schooljaar/School year

Het schooljaar van de Oranjeschool loopt van zaterdag 5 september '09 tot en met zaterdag 19 juni '10 met hierin de nodige vakanties i.v.m. feestdagen.

The school year runs from Saturday September 5th '09 until Saturday June 19th '10. The calendar shows on which Saturdays there is no school due to vacation or holidays.

Schooltijden/School sessions

Speelgroep:
Zaterdagochtend van 9.30 uur tot 11.00 uur.

Overige klassen voor alle kinderen van 3 jaar en ouder:
09.30 uur tot 12.30 uur

Play Group :
Saturday morning from 9:30 - 11:00 AM.

Other classes:
9:30 AM - 12:30 PM

Leeftijdsgroepen/Age groups

Er zijn 5 leeftijdsgroepen gedefinieerd en de groepsindeling ziet er als volgt uit:
Speelgroep: kinderen 0-2 jaar
Instroomgroep: kinderen van 3 jaar
Onderbouw: kinderen van 4-6 jaar
Middenbouw: kinderen van 6-8 jaar
Bovenbouw: kinderen van 8 jaar en ouder
De groep waarin uw kind wordt geplaatst is afhankelijk van de leeftijd van uw kind en het niveau van het Nederlands (NTC) vóór 1 september.

There are 5 age groups:
Playgroup: 0-2 years
Entry Group: 3-4 years
Elementary Group: 4-6 years
Middle Group: 6-8 years
Advanced Group: 8 years and up
